BRENTWOOD Ladies first team won a close encounter at Folkestone 2-1.
After a very solid defensive showing from Sandy Pass, Emily Wright and Haylee Adams, the score remained 0-0 at half-time, despite some good chances for the home side.
Kendall Colman gave Brentwood the lead in the second half, before Folkestone equalised.
But the away side dug deep and Lauren Slater scored the decisive goal.
The men’s side drew 1-1 with St Ives following a victory the week before.
Ian Malone in the Brentwood goal had a great game and James Duggan gave the home side the lead before they were pegged back by St Ives.
