THE search is on to find the next Braintree Town Academy success story.

Joe Maybanks became the first academy graduate to make the full transition into the Iron’s senior ranks when he made his debut appearance in their 3-0 Vanarama Conference Premier victory against Dover in August.

And the Brentwood Weekly News is giving YOU the chance to take the first step on a path that could lead to your own footballing opportunities.

We have teamed up with Braintree Town and local business Ricky Jewitt Carpets to offer a talented teenager a FREE place in the academy.

The academy is similar to a school sixth form, whereby the students study for either a Btec or a VRQ level three sports qualification.

But alongside the studies is the opportunity to play and train at one of the top non-league outfits in the country.

To apply email, a brief CV, telling the club a little about yourself and your football ability, to mark@braintreetownacademy.org.uk.
