A PRODUCTION company is taking a classic play on tour.
Destiny of Theatre, or Dot Productions, are touring Essex with their adap - tation of the Importance of Being Earnest.
The tour begins on Friday, July 1 at Brentwood Theatre, Shenfield Road, Brentwood, at 8pm.
The Importance of Being Earnest is a title which many people recognise, and which theatre-goers love.
Last time Dot Productions toured the show it sold out in many venues.
Since then the company’s following has grown and audiences will be returning for both Oscar Wilde's wit and Dot's renowned comic style.
The masterpiece by Wilde, which was first performed at the St James’s Theatre in London in 1895, introduces theatre-goers to two bachelor friends who both do what they can to court the ladies they desire – Gwendolyn and Cecily.
Tickets are £15 and the box office number is 01277 200 350. For the full list of tour dates, visit dot-productions.co.uk.
