A care home has organised a carer advice event to support those looking after their loved ones.

Home Instead Senior Care, which is based in Brentwood, Billericay and Upminster, will hold the free event at Brentwood Cathedral Hall, in Ingrave Road, Brentwood, on June 12.

It is aims to offer solutions to many of the challenges faced by family carers.

The event will provide family carers with free advice and information about the services available to them in their local area.

Exhibitors will include: Home Instead Senior Care, Alzheimer’s Society, SEPT (South Essex Partnership Trust), Learning Disability Charities, Crossroads (Carer’s Trust), Brentwood Borough Council, a live-in care company, a care home, a mobility company and others. All of the organisations attending the event will be offering support, guidance, and legal advice.

Home Instead in Brentwood, Billericay and Upmister specialise in companionship care to older people in their own homes.
